About the Artist – Kaytee Fauskee

Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my work! My name is Kaytee Fauskee, and creating art is my passion. I believe life is ours to create, and painting is my way of bringing that belief to life.

I primarily work with acrylic paint and Posca paint pens, though I also enjoy watercolor. Acrylics, however, are where my heart and soul truly reside. My style blends colorful, whimsical landscapes with intricate mandala patterns, inspired both by nature’s beauty and the meditative process of repeating patterns. To me, mandalas are more than designs—they are vessels and portals into what I call my Faery Dream Worlds: realms of magic, harmony, and abundance, existing on another plane yet always within reach if we believe.

Much of my inspiration comes from dreams, the natural world, and the patterns of life that connect us all. My goal is to create art that sparks joy, wonder, and a sense of possibility.

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—starting with crafts alongside my mom, growing into an intense love of art in high school, where I filled my senior year with as many art classes as possible. While I have limited formal training, being largely self-taught has given me the freedom to experiment with techniques, styles, and mediums without being bound by “right” or “wrong” methods. I believe art is an expression of who we are in the moment, always evolving and growing as we do.
